Lots of people love to move to Florida. For many, it is a final destination, the reward for a life filled with hard work and sacrifice. While I enjoy a week's respite from a cold winter, the chances that I'd ever retire to the sunshine state are quite remote.

The photos in this gallery represent my attempt to capture some of the natural beauty that currently resides in Florida. With the state's rapidly expanding population, it is getting more difficult with each passing year for the flaura and fawna to maintain their residency.
